Lost my best buddy and co-worker

Yup, losing one is so hard. I still tear up thinking of some of ours from many years ago. But they bring us so much joy, and we do for them, as well.

Very sorry for your loss. Just found out our 13 year old husky has a large mass on her liver. Trying to enjoy every minute we have left with her. They are never with us long enough.

I feel your pain.

We lost an 11 year old cat to cancer last year.

One of the hardest things to deal with. Mind and spirit were fine but part of the body was not.

Like all of us pet lovers here, we do know your grief well pard. We’ve had to say farewell to too many pets and we made decisions a couple times trying to save them that was not something we found was the better one to make given the gravity of their ills and misery they endured. What helps is to remember how we treated them giving them a nice life as you can say you did.

Sorry for your loss. I've been there too, can't read the sad stories. I have my current Lab Retriever, hate thinking about the end times. Always worth it!
