got the max wedge manifolds i wanted for my 62 dart. then it hit me... can i run power brakes and a dual pot master with them??
not worryed about vac.. im wondering about the space for it. i know its kinda close to the single pot master and ya have to make the line go around the manifold. the booster and master will add about 4-5 in to where the end of the master will be.When you say 'booster', I presume you mean a conventional vacuum booster, not a hydroboost.
Other than the physical mounting, it will depend on the engine vacuum.
ya... would hate to do it. but .....My guess, it should be a concern, and I don't know.
Me personally, I would give up the power brakes before I would ditch those exhaust manifolds.
Hot dog flavored Ice Cream I suppose?Power brakes and max wedges go together like mustard on ice cream.
Wait, are you saying you don’t like mustard on ice cream?
I can't speak for other regions but around here it's a no- goHot dog flavored Ice Cream I suppose?
There was also one used on 70's A-bodies that a friend of mine used on a 383 Dart he built...You might be able to do it, if you use the raised bracket and master cylinder used on Hemi cars with power brakes.
ya ... that answers that question.... thanks guys. Not sure if these will help to determine clearance ? This is a '63 sedan, and newer dual pot MC...
