Got my Mega Block Today wondering how much Horsepower could this thing take 1500HP ?? my goal is 1000HP
Mine makes around 900. Never had an issue. I'm going to swap in some new springs and check bearings after Christmas. Current has 185 passes since freshened. My bet is it'll go at least 400 with springs and maybe bearings. Even the lifters are looking good. Building an honest 1000hp on motor is going to be tough unless it's got Predator or Hemi heads. Doing one that is low maintenance, good luck. Now 1500 with a turbo, piece of cake, but not cheap. I'd bet 25K in parts. That being said 850 is more than will hook up anywhere on the street. It'll black track from a 50mph roll.I know they can handle 1000 horse, not sure of limitation. I think @dvw has one. Did you get the one I looked at?
