2 in 1 day. Dropped to cement carport from waist level. Adams only from now on. This stuff is getting expensive. Lost almost all of the detailer and the wax makes nice long lasting spots on the cement.

The Adam's containers are brittle too..

Mishandled by the owner too. The Adams shown is a little older than the Meguiars.

Had a meguars polish break open in the trunk of my car, shampooed and scrubbed it and can still see leftovers.

I don't know how many bottles of detail spray I've knocked over only to find them empty later. I guess I'll learn one day to stand them back up Lol.

Sounds like it's time to write a few nastygrams and let them know how you really feel!

I notice all the plastic caps (spin on) split after a while and the bottles/containers are no longer sealed. i found it on a plastic bleach bottle and thought it was the contents fault, but now I find it with any product. Must be the plastic failing for some reason. Spin on caps used to be of metal back in the day, weren't they?

I keep a roll of wax paper in the garage. I now have the habit of cutting a small square and sealing the cap.
Had almost a half gallon of simple green lost due to evaporation. Now wax paper seal keeps the stuff fresh and no evaporation.

Wife left windex spray bottle cap loose put in the trunk. Leaked of course it wrecked my $30 tire pressure gauge.

Aren’t the red bottles the regular line and the tan are the “professional” line

That's too funny, my bottles did the same thing. That was the last cleaner wax I ever bought.

I'm an Adams fan. Using for years and no bottle or sprayer issues.

I treat my concrete differently Dennis
I use REZ SEAL, stuff lasts for centuries and probably less expensive.
Just don't inhale it, or at least a lot of it.

Sorry for that my friend, you know you should never drink and detail!

Thought one could not be done without the other...

I have experienced the same thing with a bottle of polishing compound. Can't help but wonder if several years of freeze/thaw cycles in the garage doesn't contribute to this brittleness.

Final Inspection. I've tried a lot of detailing sprays. Final inspection is so good, streak free but leaves a smooth, static free, shiny surface, I use it on my motorcycle helmet and visors, mirrors and glass, and even the seat. There's nothing in or on my Roadrunner that I wouldn't use it on.
I get the gallon container and use nice spray bottles from the hardware store. The squirters don't break and neither do the bottles.

Yep, they become brittle with age and temperature cycles. Never had one break, though.
