I'm pretty new to the board and was wondering how many from the lone star state and who might be local?

I'm in Houston, but I make it to the D/FW area several times a month...

I know I've seen a few others in both Houston and Dallas for sure...

I have several MOPAR friends down that way. Used to make it to several shows each year down there. dont get there as often now days..... bummer.....

Hi Texpar,

I am right down the street from you in the Plano area. Nice to meet another local Mopar guy!

Pasadena....just east of Houston.

Mansfield isn't too far from my old stomping grounds...I grew up in Ellis County, and we used to go to the Cowbell Rodeo every Saturday night back in the day. Of course Cowbell (or I think it was Kowbell) has been gone long enough to date me a little bit....

I think there are more of us with Mopar-itis in Texas than what's represented here...I know I've seen several nice restored/survivor Mopars in the D/FW and Houston areas.

I'm in League City,

Which is about halfway between Houston and Galveston. Quite a few FBBO members in Tx, I've met two in the last couple of weeks.

Whenever I go to the track in Ennis, I always see way more Mopars there than I've ever seen at any of the Houston area tracks!

Man, I haven't gone to the Ennis track in so long it's scary. We used to occasionally hit 85 Speedway for dirt-track and the Motorplex for the drags. Nothin' like it.

And yeah, it does seem like there were more Mopars in Ennis than around here. Only track I've been to down here is over by the beltway with a friend of mine, and the only Mopars I remember seeing were a couple of darts, and several new-era challengers in the street divisions.

The track just off of BW-8? That's Houston Motorsports Park...1/8 mile track with a very short shut off...
