Mis-Fires/Skipping Pistons

I went to check my firing order and it was different from this ^ it was like 1 - 8 - 6 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 7 - 2?

Is that a problem?

Yup ... flip 4 & 6 on the distributor ... fix that and it will probably run just like it was new.

Looks like you may have found the issue. Very simple mistake to make.

Doesn't that boot and male end just pop right off? if not don't use that coil just get the msd one like your old one. Get all new wires that match the distributor cap and get a new coil that has the same inlet that one looks used? do you have the old points style distributor? if so did you make sure you points are gapped correctly? contact points are still good not worn out?

Ended up taking out my old coil and putting the new MSD Blaster 3 one in. Car drives 100x better.
