Modern Bullitt build

I had one bad spot in the right side cowl vent that needed asmall repair, but fortunately it was accessible. The right side cowl vent isnot used with new Vintage Air system; there is a plate that will cover it. NowI can water test it with a rust converter and spray it down with sealer. Ifanyone has a proven method for access, cleaning, and coating the inside of thecowl please let me know.
Thanks
Pat

Thanks

Why the new hole for Hydro boost??

The hydro boost is setup to go in a manual brake car and my original power brake hole in the firewall reinforcement bracket was to high. The actual firewall needed no modification.
Thanks
Pat

Got ya, something to check when looking for a Hydro boost..

I bent the Hydroboost and power steering lines to fit in theleft side inter fender well. I used 3/8” stainless steel .035 wall tubing. All this test fitting, wiring, and line bending just to pull it all out before the bodywork starts isa lot of work!! I’m sure I will enjoy having all this work behind me after thecar is painted. Wait that sound like I’m looking forward to the bodywork ;-(
Thanks
Pat

Went to Carlisle today and pickup my original front and backseats that I had dropped off with Legendary this past spring. They recover thefront & back seat and I went with their Rallye front seat upgrade. I’m veryhappy with the look, shape, and fit!
Thanks
Pat

Today I replaced the right side radiator core support so Ican use the larger radiator. The new part fit nice and I spot-welded it inplace. I hope to test fit the new radiator next week.
Thanks
Pat

Where did you get that piece from? AMD has the whole Radiator Cross member..

I believe I bought that from Year One or Classic Industries. I do remember it was in bare metal unpainted so it's probably not an AMD part?
Thanks
Pat

I decided to go with aluminum for the AC and heater linecovers. They will be painted with Bed-liner after a few seams are welded. Ileft the front cover long and will cut to fit the fender.
Thanks

Hi Pat, a nice build and the level of quality in every detail is really amazing. Thanks for sharing all the pics and infos. As I'm working on my 68 Coronet with a similar suspension setup I'd be interested in the wheel dimensions. Can't wait to see the next update.

Regards,
Karl

Karl,
The front wheels are 17 x 9 with a 5 1/2" BS and the tires are 255/40
On the rear I have 17 x 12 with a 7 1/2" BS and the tires are 335/35
good luck with your Coronet and let me know if I can help with any pictures or info!
Thank you!
Pat

More awesome fab work Keepat, looks great. I'm taking note since this will likely be my main project for the winter (installing my A/C unit). A little fruit for thought for you, when dealing with what to do with the unused air intake on the passenger side I took an extra fresh air intake for the driver side and mounted it on the passenger side so it can still be used...... works nice and looks like it was built that way.
