Had a little unfortunate incedent with her the other day. It has a lift off glass hood, I pulled the pins to lift it up to do something under the hood and didn't put them back in. (you know where this is going ) Son came home and wanted to take the car to the store so I said ok, he took of down the street and didn't get any farther than 200' before the hood came flying off over the roof of the car and landed in the street and slid. Mostly cosmetic damage, we were real lucky, could have smashed to pieces. Not used to a lift off hood, lifted off real nice. So now it needs some sanding and a repaint. Think we are going to go with matching color "real look" flames coming off the front fading as they go back to about the scoop. Not heavy flames, what I would call medium accent. We won't make that mistake again!
