Is that "LITTLE" car towing the trailer?

That's always a "mile-marker" in a restoration project!! gotta be happy about that!

it's funny, i look at the pict. you posted and the country side looks like you could be driving down the lane from any midwest farm in the states. (Except for the car towing the trailer.) small world when you have common connections.

Have you decided on a color yet? It's always a tough decision unless you are doing a factory resto. Congrats on the progress.

It's gonna be black; i am trying to make it look like a factory resto, but..it was a creamish white slant-6 car, and it will be a max wedge clone; chose a 1963 Chrysler black, and trying to duplicate a lot of factory details.
So in other words..it will be totally uncorrect when compared to how it originally was, but correct in the finishes.

Looks to me like the Savoy wants to jump off the trailer and eat the (no offence intended) rice burner FWD. Given the weight on the back, I bet it wheel spins into top gear for the first time ever!!!!

Jokes aside, it will look awesome in black. Well done on progress so far, you're well on your way to a killer car.

EDIT - I just spent a while at your blog Marcel. Great work there!! I will be going back to see and read more, that's for sure. I really like your humour, and your blog demonstrates "the journey" that restoring a car is.....

Hey, 62 Polara, read your PM!

thanks for the compliments! Indeed..my riceburner diesel is waaaay to light for the trailer. I always feel a little tentioned when i load my savoy on the trailer behind that small car!

I've towed a way too heavy trailer with a small front wheel drive before too - it's fun, if not extremely dangerous....

I'm looking forward to your next blog, and can't way to see your car finished. :icon_cheers:

Car looks awesome!!! Love the black! Dumb question though..what shocks arethose on the rear?? Just curious
