mopar performance shocks; were black already.
front shocks are aftermarket-stuff, i had them painted black to match the rear shocks.

Marcel , you are doing a wonderful job on this car,I cannot wait for more updates.
one question ...where are you getting all the info on originality ? (Plating,colour,gal,nickel...ect.

Hi 62 dart ..will do

also sorry for the late reply!
I spent hours and hours behind my computer looking for pics.
I am in contact with Jim Schild a lot ( who writes the holey mopar books ), Gene Lewis, a friend of mine from the US, has a OE Gold resto Daytona, he helped me on tons of info,
www.mmcdetroit.com has a lot of info, and i made tons of pictures of survivorcars.
I also bought an unrestored 1963 4-door Fury in France, which had a lot of rust, but also was a treasure of details. I took the car apart with my dad and a few friends and made about 1000 pics of all the bolts/nuts/rings/finishes/paintdabs/paintruns/undercoating etc etc.
Also got a lot of replies from fellow for-b-body members who sent me pics.

Hey Mr4speed,You should be very proud of the fine work you do.Keep rebuilding. its all about having fun and saving old mopars.Dave L

Thanks Dave, and we sure have fun and a lot of beer doing it. And an empty bankaccount. But..doesn't matter!

guys, went to see the car at the paintshop day before yesterday. The mechanic is working on it for about 20 hours a week. They want to have the car painted at the end of this year for sure.
