I think I've seen some of your work. Do you make them? PM me with cost if you don't mind..

1 wheel well done. 1 more to go. IMG_1625.jpgIMG_1627.jpg

Its been far too long since I posted. wheel tubs where put in, then cut out when I didn't like them. here they are. next is trunk hinges and then trunk floor. making progress, but my pesky job stops me from working on it all day long! thanks for following along.

well the trunk is done. wheel tubs, inner wheel wells, trunk, trunk hinges. hit them all with basic etching primer to keep it from rusting. Now I'm on to the interior floor. I also met and spoke with Gary Ball. Getting his super stock interior built. I keep having visions of the finished car. Man it seems so far away from now!

Nice work! The vision of a finished car is what keeps us going.

yes in deed. I keep seeing this dark blue super stock. S/S painted on the C pillar. Cheater slicks, torque thrusts and pretty sure I'm going to do white fenderwell headers. I know the MW exhaust manifolds look AWESOME, but so many of the super stock cars from 64/65 had headers. probably 2 years away, but I see it!

It'll get done. They all start pretty far away from the finished project.

Not much work done since I finished the trunk and wheel tubs. But I picked up these SWEET 60s vintage Tri Y headers.

It's been good to watch your progress on the 64. Started on my 64 the other day too, although mine seemed to fair better over the decades. That might change once I get deep into it though... Your doing a great job, keep it going!

Boy, wish I had that kind of spark plug access... enjoying your thread. Thanks.

looking good :headbang:

Well, the weather is getting rotten here in Wisconsin. Time to start working on this thing again! I just bought a bunch of 64 dodge parts, that will hopefully let me get this thing ready for paint by spring! wish me luck! Pictures will start coming again. On the agenda:
new floor
4 speed hump
fix roll bars
cut a hole for the beautiful fenderwell headers
patch some holes...

Looking good hogpowr. Can't wait to see more progress. I envy you guys with all the talents you have.

Instrument Specialties in Rhode Island just finished my dash.. Wow, I'm going to have a hard time matching the quality of their work. I did get the floor trimmed up and ready to put in too. Weather is cold now, other than watching the Packers there isn't much else to do but work on the car!

Good morning Hogpowr!

I've been following your build since I'm on a very similar path with my '64 Convertible but I'm a bit behind you progress-wise. My car just came back for the blaster the other day (here's the thread if you're interested.....http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?67426-1964-Polara-Convertible-Project ) and I'm going to have to do a front floor pan replacement, rear seat floor pan replacement, cowl work, and possibly a new trunk floor pan too.

I read how you were happy with the fit of your new trunk pan from AMD. Are you just as happy with their full front floor pan? What kind of shape is your cowl in? Thanks! ~ Steve
