going to belvidere, il mopar show july 15. anyone going look me up will have the plymouth there.

game time

this project is gonna be done right, so this is gonna take me a year maybe year an half. buying all the metal first, then going drivetrain. 426 with a 6 speed, strange rearend with 3;54 gear. driving the car right now. cant believe all the people that ask about the car, its not even that nice. but it is a MOPAR baby. i keep posting every little step. here are some pics that i have done so far. rust free fenders, new wheels and tires, new full quarters. usaroadrunner:sFl_america2:

Save those chrome peices from faux side vent.. The SS and RR have different vent trim, if your cloning an RR yor going to need the pot-metal trim pieces.. BUt anyone looking to restore the SS will need those and they are hard to find sometimes.

How much did that qp cost? I need at least one of them...hahahaha

:sSig_greetingsthor::sSig_welcometoourcl nice , keep us up dated on your new project :headbang:

i dont know how and i didnt ask, but those were $820 qp and i got them for $550 each. over $500 in savings. i thought it was a killer deal and snagged them up. :headbang:

Congrats! You don't get deals like that very often.. Off and running and wish you luck! The 70 is one of my favorite Mopars out there and my wife's choice.. I hope to grab a 68-70 again myself if at all possible, My wife says it wont make me young again, we'll see!! lol, please keep us posted.. These threads here will give me the best manual possible thanks to you guys if i manage whats planned. real pros in here!

Love your car

One thing about being into Mopars is, no matter what condition they are in, I can always imagine them done. I'd say yours is a long way toward being done already.

What size tires are you running on the rear. That fills the wheelwell nice!

rims 15x7 up front and 15x8 in back with 4.5 inch backspacing. tire size is 245/60/15 and the back are 275/60/15 thanks usaroadrunner:sFl_america2:

I am glad to hear that you are not cloning! I have never been a fan and am in the process of uncloning my car. It's more fun to see people look into a Satellite and see a hemi where they dont expect it.

parts

just a update. worked on the east coast, got me some car money. so i scored me a better trunk lid and a AIR GRABBER hood. just need a trunk floor and extensions and the metal is done. then it will be the drivetrain...:sFl_america2:
