My body guy got the trunk lid perfect now he just has to do hood and make custom cowl

Is the gap too tight at forward end of the trunk lid? It looks like it'll be awfully close at the corners when opening/closing. Or are my eyes deceiving me?

He might not be completely done with it yet he has a 3/16 gauge he walks around with. He adds an grinds metal until he has his 3/16 gaps. I've seen his other cars....no worries 3/16 all day lol

He broke the news to me a few weeks ago probably not til spring 2018. He told me he does not want to rush it. Plus the fab work takes time and we are doing more fab work inside of car also. Thanks for following. usaroadrunner

Here is the custom cowl I will have more pics of and I got the power viper mirrors mounted I will be able see out no problem with these baby's. My health isn't doing the best lately he's kicking it in again let's hope for the best gotta get a move on to get it back to the dipper. Take care everyone usarr

yes it is a sport satellite with the 318. im glad its a satellite cause i didnt want to molest a rr. gonna build it the way i want. plans are 2012 challenger srt8 silver with white vinyle top with rr satin white strips on hood, solid white interior with custom dash with either silver or white faced gauges. gonna have to stuff a dana under it for the big block HEMI. time to work some overtime.

Never fear, the project will go on. There is an 11 year old girl, our daughter Emma the original Evil Scowl; she will make sure this car is done and ready for her 18th birthday. I will try to make it as long as I can to see it finished. Just ordered the whipple supercharger today. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
