I'm new to the group, but not to mopars. This is my 73 Satellite project that I've had for the last 8 years. Figured it's time to jump in it again. It's a factory 400 2 bbl. (Now had a 4 bbl). Interior is as fancy as a taxicab. It had a well-wore 318 when is but it. I'm currently changing back to a 400. I have replaced the bench seat to buckets, converted the column shift to console, and a currently replaced the shoebox dash with a rallye dash.

That what Is was doing too. One day, I just made myself work on it. After i saw a day's progress, I'm now ready to get it back together. Still need a 727 driveshaft, and all the power steering pump brackets.

Didn't get much done today. Spent time with the family. Wiring is run underhood, got all the little boxes and relays hooked up. Got wait till i go back to work to buy a radiator, tranny mount and cooler lines. Trying to do as much free stuff as i can in the meantime. Definately dreading hooking up the dash harness!

Looks like it had a pretty good body to start with.

Welcome aboard! Looks like a nice car and wish you luck, I don't think you'll have as much trouble with the dash as you think, You could get a Haynes manual sold at most part places and it can be a great help with your car, I bought one for my 73 and i think its great.. Good luck!!!

Hey question for you going from the 318 to the 400 are u changing k member or are u using the adaptor mounts?

The car was a factory 400 2 bbl car. I'm just putting It back the way It was when it left The factory.

Not much done today. Starter will be in this weekend. Cleaned up a lot of tree sap.

WOW!!!!!!!!! That a big difference from the first picture you showed. Looks great.

Nice project car. Looks like its got a 74 RR hood, so if the wipers have not been converted you will have to update them to use the washer fluid squirters that attach to the wipers instead of the ones that were in the hood vents on 73's.
