Little Bear was inside while I was cooking last night. I cooked one of the big, deep-dish pizzas from Sam's Club. I put it on the kitchen counter to cool off and went to take the trash out. When I got back in there were some greasy spots on the kitchen floor but that was all that was left. She has grabbed some things off the counter before like a whole grilled chicken I just spaced it out this time.

She's been getting bigger after being spayed but the whole pizza thing in 3 minutes surprised me. A pic of a Newfie on a kitchen counter.

My two lunkheads prefer chicken, cooked or raw doesn't seem to matter. If it was a whole pizza in my house I'd have blamed my 21yo son.

You put an apron on your dog?

:screwy:

Long winter?
Maybe you need to get out more often

"Someone" Needs to teach "TRAIN THEM", to stay off the damn counters
or stop taking food, when you turn your back...

I can leave a steak meal on the coffee table
walk away for a few min.'s & my dog Elvis won't touch it...
{he's a 95# lab} & most all my dogs have been like that...
He'll be sitting in a puddle of drool when I come back, but
I don't trust him for too long, I'm not stupid & neither is he...

I know my dog could eat a whole pizza easily,
I don't let him, he knows better too, but I know he could do it,
just not until I let him...

In my old place in Turtle Creek many, many years ago
I had a Lab "Duke" that ate a whole bucket of KFC
{he was still a pup 6-7 months old}
I came home for a MNF party, to prep & put it on the coffee table
went out to the garage, do some set up in the smoking lounge
& came back in to an empty bucket on the floor...
He knew he did wrong too, the guilt was obvious...
I cut the bottom out of the bucket & he wore it as a cone for 2+ weeks !!
Basically until when it fell apart off his neck...
After that...
He even saw a red & white bag from KFC he went & laid down in his kennel,
he never got close to another bucket of chicken or anything else
on any of the tables or any counter ever again, he lived to 14-1/2...
We would often have parties, my place was like party central
& most my friends were dog people, many were hunters too,
most people brought their dogs {to swim & play etc.},
I welcomed them & the dogs...
None of them took anything off the tables or counters...
Believe me "there was a shitload of tid bits to be taken too"
Inside & outside by the pool or picnic table BBQ, counter, spa sides too...
I was actually pleasantly surprised...

We did have a few drinks, that were drank by dogs...
My buddy Jim's dog was found of beer, if you put it down & walked away
he'd knock it over & drink it, or if it was in a glass just lap it up,
he was also fond whiskey too...

IMO "ALMOST" Nothing worse than untrained unruly animals...

No bad breeds just bad owners {Not saying the OP is a bad owner either}

Hopefully for his punishment he burned the roof of his mouth with hot cheese! We've all been there!

Sorry, it was me. Passing by, I couldn't help it. I knew the dog would take the rap. But now, my conscience bothers me.

That's Little Bear, Diesel and my daughter. Kylie had me take this picture with her phone and she added the little sparkles to it.
