My dog ate a whole pizza

Yeah i knew about chocolate, but I didn't know about raisins....Thanks for bringing it up. I know onions are bad too, but garlic is ok,,,that's a weird one.
I didn't know about onions, thanks. Not surprised though-little toxic chemical factories that onions are...
Speaking of "toxic chemical factories" and garlic, dogs like garlic but DAMN! dog farts are bad enough without making them worse! My Labs sleep in the bed if they want to (they almost always want to). I have been awakened from a deep sleep to my face melting off and my sinuses on fire from a dog fart!
LOL.
EDIT: GARLIC IS HARMFUL TO DOGS (although mine are still ok)

Well I guess I should have paid more attention or dug even deeper into dog nutrition than I did once I completed my certification as a pet nutrition expert. Dogs were naturally part of that training, and I did a deep dive into dog-specific nutrition after that course.
Turns out garlic isn't good for them either (although mine are ok). I put some garlic powder in my pork fat scraps that I buy from a local butcher. That is now officially an EX ingredient.
All parts of the onion plant are toxic to dogs, including the flesh, leaves, juice, and processed powders. Raw or cooked, fried or powdered, onions and the rest of the allium family (garlic, shallots, leeks, and chives) are harmful to dogs.

There are several human foods that dogs don't tolerate.
I checked out the linked article. Pretty thorough, but not all inclusive. There are a variety of "yard plants" that are toxic-VERY toxic too, like the red seeds on those short, trunkless sago palm trees, and many others.
Check it out, mint leaves and tomatoes are toxic to dogs!

Is that info all reliable?

Wow, one of the things on that list of toxic items for dogs is apples. I didn't know that. Nor do my dogs, one of whom will happily spend the whole summer eating apple after apple, chasing them as they fall from the trees. She gains some weight each summer from all that. She eats the pears too.

And who hasn't given apples to a horse? They love them...but the ASPCA says they're toxic? Not according to a lot of other sites - apples are the number one treat that people give to horses.
