Mystery bracket for clutch pedal setup

Even after taking a dozen or so pictures of my clutch pedal setup before powdercoating and rebuild, I cant seem to figure where this bracket belongs. My project (70 Roadrunner) is taking way too long to progress, and I'm anxious to reinstall he dash and windshield, but this is holding me up. Can anyone shed light? Thnx!!
