ooh, a car one I don't know.

"Snidely Whiplash" was the name of our "arch rival" band in 1987.
I always loved that for a band name.
It's cartoony and also thrashy.

The closest my band got to a name was "Special Guest".
It's funny, and musician/fan oriented...but it's terrible marketing.

Funny annecdote about Inspector Gadget.
That show was in first run when I was in late HS.
A guy in my auto shop class looked just like the animated Don Adams.
Nothing like the personality, but he could have played Gadget or been very convincing in a halloween costume.

...and the kicker...his girlfriend was named Penny, which was the girl's name in the show.
