Any one have one for sale for a 69 440?

I have a couple of big block purple cams....what are you looking for?

There are multiple grinds that are purple shafts. The cams were purple between the lobes if they were m/p. Its a general term. Most common cam upgrade was the .509 lift cam.

stock one...268 intake and 284 exhaust. Mopar part number P4452783AC

If you're looking for cam that will go in a street driven car, I agree with the suggestion to use the stock 268/284 cam. It has a decent sound and will perform very nicely on the street.

I wanted to see if anyone had one for sale as they are BO for about 30 days.

Any truth to the stories I've been hearing the last couple years about the purple shaft cams having quality issues?

Not sure about the stories but I got a .509 cam once and it was bent about .010". I also had the same issue with an Edelbrock cam for a FE Ford.

I'll check to see what I have and if I have that one, I'll send you a PM.

Had several cams come to me that were out that much and they can usually be straightened in a lathe if they are not out anymore than that. I'll also heat it up after getting it straight to see if it's going to hold it. The southern Texas sun is usually hot enough to check that lol

Thanks all, I ended up getting the cam kit from Summit, comes in today.
