Need help, bout to buy my first road runner!

If you like the car for the price buy it, but that price $27K is for a completely original RR restored, there are some minor differences from a concourse original if that dosen't bother you, go for it !! I am the type of guy who builds a car for myself not someone else "my cars are the way I like them & to hell with anyone else" if they don't like it, they don't have to drive it or own it, purest or not... There is nothing wrong with a few liberties when building a car as long as it's not cheesy or over the top stuff.. My only exception to the rule is if it's claimed to be "original or restore to original, the car should be what they claim" not the the best of many years or models or a clone, if it is state it plainly & don't try to pull the wool over someones eyes... Just my opinion...

Thanks for all the great info guys! Regardless of
How long you wrote I still read it all about 3 times.. I'm trying to learn
as much as possible. Does anyone by any chance live
In the Boston area? I'm willing to pay for someone with knowledge to go
Down there to take a look for me.

Thanks

im 3 hours from there.pm me for more details.

I also agree with what everyone has said. From the video it does look like a solid car but you do need to see it in person. As far as the fender signals go I think it is a fairly common option on these cars. My car has them and there are other cars in my area that have them.

I have seen the fender markers on a few RR's, but it was more common on GTX's & Sport Satellites, most people that purchased RR's weren't into all the extra options like the others had That was the whole concept of the RR... I know... :werd: Only the GTX in 68 no RR's from the factory had them, they were available on 69 RR's though... The correct lamps are "L13 517 fender mounted signal lamps" part #2853636 & they are different styles than the ones used on Dodges
