I have been trying to decide to keep it in there or not.
I am a bit of a purist. The fact that it was done early in its life by the original owner is pretty cool. It also has a mallory dual point.
What is your opinion? Leave this stuff in as time period correct or find an original distributor?
Thats a sweet ride, mine is about like it, but mine is 383 w/red int. and red side moulding stripe. I still have the Sun tach out of my dads car that he bought new,but he didn't keep the sender. so im thinking about buying a new repop tach. those senders are a little hard to find that works. if yours works i'd probably leave it. just my opinion. Fantastic car! My next door neighbour had one new that looked just like yours save for the wheels-though he eventually saved up and bought similar ones [Cragar S/S]. His was 383 and 4 speed, and is the car that really got me 'started' on Mopar as a wee lad. Congratulations.
