How many here are cross breeders? Meaning, love and maintain and work/restore/restomod our B Bodies, but, drive new(er) car(s) that are not necessarily MOPAR?

Temptation is calling me, I am so tempted to cheat on Ma MOPAR, and put my *** in a GM car! We have a Challenger, we have a Charger RT, and, I so want this http://henna.com/Austin-TX/For-Sale/New/Chevrolet/Camaro/2011-1SS-2dr-Car-White-Car/5394160/ as I can't even really get into a Challenger RT for this price! And, this has the same HP ratings as the SRT8! Go figure?

And, Momma 'approves' if the numbers come out right, and, they look like I can do this for low 500s a month! Not pulled the trigger...yet, may not, but, sure is tempting!!

I work for GM(34+ years),so I own GM trucks and the gf has a new Cruze that she really likes. I do like the look of the new Dodg...RAM trucks(great front end treatment with the slanted grill);I could see my next truck being a used version of one of those.

Donny,you may get this reaction:

Nah...I was expecting that reaction when I posted my Chevelle SS thread...but, they were pretty cool, notice it's dead now!

I know what you mean about the Camaro vs. Challenger pricing. I love the new Challenger-can't afford one-but I admit I'd go for a mix and match of low-end trim,a Magnum motor(nothing against the Hemi) and 16" wheels. I don't care for 20" wheels and gaudy cars. Just my bog O...

For me, I'm less brand loyal these days with Fiat being the owner and Government Motors on the other side. Ford has been putting out some cool retro cars and the Boss 302 in '12 looks pretty unique...so my eye does wander... Go with your gut.

For me i spent 33 yrs at Chryslers and i am very loyal to them, but i do like the big 3 cars ,absolutely no foreign cars in my driveway ,not even for a visit, LOL

your ok man ... i used to never even look at GM cars, but then i got a good deal on my tahoe and i love it ... crazy huh ! that thing is comfortable, and interior is pretty tough. AND, i used to trash jap cars, but traded my '06 HEMI cherokee in on an acura tl, absolutely love it.... sorry but american cars cant compete with honda/toyota ... they have came a long way, but still behind the guys from across the waters !!

I drive a GM car and so does my wife. I am an old mopar nut. NO FOREIGN CARS. BUY AMERICAN, THE JOB YOU SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN!!!

They looks alright if you like new cars :p But hey my dad wants to sell his 99' Stang and get the Caddy CTS-V after almost getting beat by one with street tires at the track lol, and my dad runs 11.70's...

may be too late for that. we should have worried about this 40yrs ago ! .. i work for chrysler and right now we are hurt, really hurt ! sales are down and we are dieing a slow death in service. i see first hand( no offense to anybody) but chrysler customers just done maintain theyre vehicles like a honda/toyota customer does.... i think if the big 3 would have been more concerned with quality of cars produced instead of numbers we would be alot better off today than we are ........

I have to agree,as long as its 1 of the big3 im good, Myself and my wife go through cars pretty quickly maby 2-4 yrs,and new cars are what we like for the finance rates and waranty stuff. Chrysler products in general are worth so little as used cars for us it just aint worth it. sad but true!

so freakin true, its not even funny ! the exact reason i dumped the jeep for an Acura. 46K new, less that 2yrs and 19,000 miles later only worth 19K ? total bullshit ! our new product line is nice, but you can have them all( except challenger, thats one i would splurge for !) .........

My old cars ar mopar for the most part, but my dailys are Ford. I'm for anything that is American made!!
KID

I drive an 2010 F150, if I were buying a new car I would probably not be buying a Chrysler product, maybe a 300. I prefer Fords

I get pretty good money for my chrysler trade ins,but i keep them spotless ,i have a 2009 Doge Nitro and only had it in once for service ,and it was for the rims.Plus i really like my pension checks.

It's hard to beat GM when it comes to creature comforts, But 60s cars, it's all mopar. How ever when I look at the new big 3s redo on the old ones, I think Ford did it better than GM or Dodge. The Mustang looks like a Mustang.
