New exhaust

I'll take a guess 2" primary headers,3" exhaust,Flowmaster 40's with short dumps.Am I close? LOL

I bought my setup straight from TTI due to the military discount they gave me. You don't have to go with the Dynomax turbos they will build the system for the ultraflos if you want, just ask. They did that for me and they had the best price on the mufflers anyway. I got the 2.5" with H pipe but I haven't run them yet as I'm still squaring away all the odds and ends on my engine. I haven't bought the headers yet due to money but will be getting a set of theirs for sure since my car is a column shift and apparently the Doug's don't work for that. I'll just be running stock exhaust manifolds for engine break in.

Close but I'm not running 40's I'm running the older muffler's before they had the 40's.
But they due dump before the axel due to clearance.

Well mine was new 13 yrs ago so probably that's why it sounded so familar LOL!You wouldn't running 484/284 purple shaft too???Boy do I miss the Red missle! My girls gave it that name after they're ride LOL!

I also have 500 cid engine in a 66 Satellite. I used TTI headers, flowmaster muffs and full length custom fab'ed 2.5 inch pipes including tail pipes. No x or h pipe. If you want the old school sound that includes a lot of "rap, rap, rap" this is the system for you. If you would like it to sound like a modern day Hot Rod - smooth and loud - look into some of the muffs they are using on late model Chargers

On my 493 I use the TTI 2" headers and their full 3 "exh system to the rear of the car with an X-pipe. But I use the Dyno-Max Ultra -Flow mufflers. It works and sounds great to me. I race with the full exh system hooked up as I have never uncapped it.
I can tell you my son has 3" Flow-Masters on his Dart and it picks up 2 tenths when he uncaps it. Thats one reason I dont care for Flow-masters. Ron
