Well dint get lots of runs as water pump pack up. But gone from a 10.3 & 134 to 10.1 @ 135 in 1/4 mile. More to come i think with more runs as only got 3 in.
With that speed/mph 134-135mph you should be in the mid to hi 9's min.
if all was right, it seems to be more than just gearing issues...
must be spinning early, killing some et,
most the et changes will be in the 1st 300ft,
some/a lot in the 1st 60ft-100ft
just spit-balling, shocks, tires, rotating mass,
add ballast or move weight to the extreme far rear etc.
have you ever "scaled the car" see what it weighs on each wheel ?
what type or rear suspension ?
how old are the tires ? what size ?
what kind of lift on the front ?, is it limited ?,
what type of front suspension ? tubular or OE style ? is it adjustable ?
does it have ladders, 4 link, S/S springs, leafs & snuber, caltracs ?
mostly just curiosity, but the information & spec.'s
will/could help other too, even help to diagnose the issues...

Is air blocked from going under hood, under the car & except thru the scoop or thru the radiator ?
It's a common issue some don't think about,
acts like a big parachute catching air going down the track,
these cars aren't really aerodynamic, have a coefficient drag of a mason brick,
anything to keep air out from underneath the car or around the rad. will help...
