Decided to join the group over here. Been a member on FABO for a while, thought I’d join here for more suggestions, recommendations, and just general info. I have a ‘65 Dodge A100 pickup I’m putting back together and sometimes get a little confused. Actually it’s more like I forget where things go and mostly where I’ve put things I removed early on.

Welcome, let's see that A100.

Welcome to FBBO from way north & east of you, NorCal Sierras

Welcome from Alabama, plenty info here.

Welcome from west of you where the a/c is always on, courtesy of nature.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gals. I’ve only got one good picture of my truck. I’ll be adding more as time goes on. I’ve done a fair amount of work on it over time, but have quite a ways to go. So far I’ve pulled and rebuilt the motor (slant 6), swapped from 3 on tree to 727 auto, fabricated front and rear bumpers (originals are next to impossible to get). I removed the solid I beam axle up front and installed IFS w/rack and pinion and added electric power steering. Out back I removed the leaf springs and fabbed up my own parallel 4 link and panhard. Using air bags in the back and coil overs in front. Just recently I got a set of 15x7 Cragar SS with 3 bar spinners. They’re gonna look great for sure. I’ll keep updating as I go along. Again thanks for the welcome,Steve.IMG_0297.jpeg

Care to share any pics or part numbers you used? Always curious.

Welcome to FBBO from Georgia.

Parts for the electric power steering were scavenged from the scrap yard. Best place for it in a “kit” are from a place online called epowersteering.com. Nice stuff and knowledgeable people. My independent front suspension was a system put together from Chris Allstons Chassis works. They helped me quite some time ago. The rear suspension is a home fabrication I did myself. Had a pair of air bags sitting around from an earlier project and decided to use them. I may put an onboard compressor and self leveling later , but for now just manual fill. Truck still sits 2-3 feet off the ground waiting for completion. One of these days! Wanted to put a set of these on it IMG_2936.jpeg
but opted for these instead
