I had a EL5 Butterscotch Super Bee back in 1990, Houndstooth seats and Rimblow wheel. Needed too much, drove it anyway and it was sideswiped by an *** kid in a 1985 Mustang 5.0! Miss the car. I want another 71-74 Charger, but won't have any $ in 3 years or so. Need to pay off some bills first! Just have my 1979 Lil Red Express now. I feel I can only afford maybe a Rallye 73-74 model if I am lucky to find one in the low teens.
Welcome Doug, I just posted a new member thread as well last week with my 1971 Bee project. I have been away from the car scene for a few years with family issues but am back and just picked up a 1971 Super Bee with similar options plus one more - the V code 440-6 engine. Your car is a great foundation and from the pics looks like you aren't missing some of the more hard to find and expensive parts like I am. Mine is a F7 dark green w green interior - not my first choice but it is a six pack car so it will be green again. The rust on yours doesn't look all that bad - totally repairable. Take your time and do it right and do it to enjoy it, and good luck! Welcome to the Mopar insanity
