new partscar, 63 Fury

hey gang,
scored myself a new partscar; in France, Europe.
1963 Fury 4-door. Sheetmetal is bad due to rust, but i can use a lot of stuff for my Savoy. The car was assembled at Simca Plant in Paris i think. It doesn't have a fendertag

318 Poly, pushbutton automatic. Assumed to be original paint, so i hope to find some factory details.

i am gonna take this car apart, it is too far to fix her up. So if any European members here need parts..just let me know

Amazing a car like that has survived all these years, in Europe no less. Doesnt look that bad. I noted the power windows also. CAr is a hardtop, and power windows did come in those models often enough. Be careful to thread the wire harness out of passage holes.

there are quite a few early b's in Europe, i believe there was a factoryplant in Paris and Antwerp.
I found a 1963 Belvedere 2-door in Luxemburg last year.

What do you think? Framerails are shot? Crossmember would be nice...
Pushbutton from a Poly doesn't fit, right? That should be a small block tranny?

hi Sven, how are you? It is a 318 poly with a pushbutton-automatic.
I can get you pics of the framerails as soon as the car arrives. I think it will be here in 1-2 weeks.

don't think so; motor is turning over. I will try it when it arrives.

doesn't run. Sold the motor to Chris from Germany. He is totally into the Poly-engines.
