I have been looking for a 66 or 67 B Body for a couple of years now and pulled the trigger on this one 66 Belevdere, original 383 car,it has A body high back buckets in it now but the guy had the original bench seat but it needs recovering I took it and will probably put that back in it if I cant find a set of 66 buckets. The car runs but needs a good tune up,it drives but pulling into the trailer today when I picked it up I hit the brakes and the main line going to the back broke and the pedal went to the floor, good thing because I know I would not have been able to get it home and not take a little ride around the neighborhood.car is blue but the original color is PP1 red the same color as my road runner (R6 for 69) I cant stay away from these red cars, not much rust for a 49 year old car around the back window, cowl and wind shield all look great, rockers are good and the undercoating is falling off in places and nice red paint is underneath.fender tag is in there and I found the certicard in its holder I need some help with the fender tag so I am posting a pic.any help with a lynch rd tag would be appreciated. This car is the most solid one I have seen.I will keep you posted on the progress. If you find you need some 66 parts I do have a stash of NOS and old parts...cr8crshr/Tuck

That's just a standard 66/67 tag. Not super different like a 68 and up Lynch Road tag with gate sequences.

This is of Chargers, but it's the best online guide specific to 66/67 I've found, and a lot of the codes are the same-

Thanks that was real helpful.383 4bbl was ordered with the car and all other options match up except for the #6 under the capitol Y.I saw the casting date on the block and it is feb 1967 so not the original motor, the guy I bought it from put a 4 bbl on it and I have the 2bbl manifold and carb,Got the brake line fixed tonight and got it in the garage ,I didnt want to move it with no brakes, so tomorrow I can get it up on the lift and really check it out good. The motor runs but its real rough, could be the carb thats on it,needs 2 mufflers, the wife dosnt like the straight pipe sound.finally in the garage now.IMG_0730.jpg

Got the leaf springs replaced and now it sits factory ride height, brakes and the front suspension are next. where is a good place to buy torsion bars?I have some things for sale that came with the car. These bucket seats I believe are from a 70's E body, they are in good shape. Also have 70's style Mopar ralley wheels 2 14" Part #3580058 and 2 15" Part#3580071.20150912_182704.jpg20150911_155637.jpg
