I'm not a Pats fan by a long shot, but I'm a HUGE Wes Welker fan. I would take that guy for my team any day of the week. How other teams defenses continually leave him wide open is one of great mysteries of pro football.

Well, I lost on the 49ers, won on the ravens. Gonna be a good game come feb., congrats to both teams for making it to the show!!

Congrats to the Ravens and their fans. They outplayed NE and deserved the win simple as that. I didnt like NE chance, the defense just isnt where it needs to be and when you have 157 year old Deion Branch as a startiing wide out you know you have issues on offense. With Gronk being gone there was no way the offense could make up for lack of receivers. Welker isnt fast and neither is Lloyd.. It showed yesterday when they couldnt get a consistent mismatch with a linebacker.
You saw the Ravens take advantage with spike chasing behind the tightend all game. Pats dont have all the ingredients yet but still managed to get where they were. I will say its a lot easier to lose the AFC champ game ( even though it was my birthday) than get blown out by San Fran in the Super Bowl. Good season. GO BRUINS!

Should be fun in a couple of weeks. Congrats to both teams,but...I wonder how much Vegas was hoping for some "Brotherly Love". Would have loved to have seen which way the wagering went on this past weekend's games. Not saying that there was "influence",but we are talking Vegas after all. Kind of figured it would be these two teams anyway,after their play the last couple of weeks. The Niners weren't fazed by anything,and I'm more impressed with Joe Flacco every game. Hell of a QB there;it is a contract year,Mr. Newsome,so you had better lock him up and keep a quality line in front of him.

Smitty I with ya, I agree 100%... the whole time watching the Pats play anyone, especially yesterdays game against the Ravens, I'm yelling at the boob-tube, "can anyone please cover Welker, you Know he's going to be the 1st target", a little evasive athletic white dude {rare in the NFL} with great hands, football & running, slot &/or wide receiver skills, great ethics & a big heart.... the game could use many more like him
