NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

just pointing out the facts, people forget quickly...he he ha ha

Yea but what have they done for you lately.
(I knew that crack would draw you out)

they suck lately... for like a decade now

I hate the Hawks and mostly they're white trash fans but they are still a damn tough team.

Funny and soooo true. For me it isn't the team so much that I hate as the incessant "12th man" bandwagon. 2 years ago..pphhht...people around here could have given a rats *** about them. But they start winning and EVERYONE got on the band wagon. Every Friday now before a game you see people running about with Sadhawk shirts on yet once again 2 + years ago...nothing. And OMG... you should have heard the talk...until last weekend when the lowly Chargers stuck it to them... about back to back superbowl wins (ain't there yet) and a dynasty in the making (once again- ain't there yet). All I can say is that it is tough being a 49'ers fan in the greater Seattle area. And IMHO, it seems that a great many teams are a little slow to start this year. I mean the Lion's, 49'ers (who I am admittedly worried about this year), Sadhawks....it was weird... and what the hell is up with Buffalo!! Talk about kicking butt and taking names!

What was their tone after the Bolts soundly beat them? Fluke? Doesn't matter?
I'm a little upset with the Chargers because they possibly lit a fire uner the Sea Chickens butt for this Sunday's game against the Broncs.

This weekend's game......Hawk's 27-Bronco's 35. Anyone else care to call out a prediction on the game?

I'll flip it around, Seahawks 35-Broncs 27. It all depends on the Hawk defense getting to Manning and dumping him on his *** a couple of times. If Manning get time to look around, it's trouble for any defense.

I like the thought 5.7 but I am going to refrain. I don't want to jynx it. It is what it is plus I suck at calling games.
The beer fridge is stocked. Looking forward to a hell of a show, either way.
Go Broncos!!!

Ill throw my lid into the ring...

The Denver Mannings 155; opponent -8. bank it.

He'll always be a winner...lol

Pretty funny about the Papa Johns franchises. Brings up some interesting questions about marijuana and sports in general. I see pro and college athletes out drinking all the time and if they don't get busted for DUI or public drunkenness or whatever, and as long as they don't show up for practice or games under the influence, it's no big deal. But if they test positive for THC, they are in trouble even if they are in a state where possession and use of marijuana is legal. It just seems kind of arbitrary that they can drink all the alcohol they want but if you partake in the weed you are in deep guano, even though both are legal. I'm not a big advocate of smoking weed but to me it's no worse than alcohol, it's everywhere, and legal in some places. What do you guys think?

I agree with everything you said

Yeah.....you got a good point there.....seems as tho it's tough to be a 49er's fan even when you're in SanFran too....... :D :D :D

Game was never in doubt, right? Like you said Runner, it was a hell of a show. Hawks damn lucky to squeeze this one out. I'm hitting the showers.:whew:

Man, none of the teams that I wanted to win, won!!!! My Skins lost, the wife's Packers CHOKED, and the Bronco's were a little too late out of the gate. Now I'll crawl back under my rock!

Too bad we didn't have that show in the SB last year. Great game to watch. While the Broncs did lose, it was still worth every nickle to watch. Great game.

I would agree. I was worried about them this year. Bowman is still out, Aldon Smith is benched...along with a few other reasons. After yesterdays loss I see my fears are pretty much confirmed.

The Seahawks had a me a bit nervous there..... Manning is a great quarterback...what a drive he made in the 4th to tie the game.

But Wilson put it together.

SEAHAWKS!!!!
