as I predicted {doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out} HC Dennis Allen got canned Monday after a 0-4 start & 10 losses in a row going back to last season, as much as I hate the coaching revolving door, something has to be done, the players need to step it up too {12 W's-28 L's record under Allen IIRC}...
Probably should have axed GM Reggie McKennsie too, just seem like a dumb a$$ to me...

Sparano the Asst. HC & line coach, got the interim HC job, he did well his 1st season with the Dolphins turned them around, has some Parcell's background too, maybe just maybe he can get them a win at-least, bring some discipline/winning ways to the struggling team...

My lowly once great team of the Raiders are becoming the old loser Saint of 40+ years or the old loser Bucc's of 30+ years or even the Lions of the 90's to 2008ish...

I kinda doubt that Gruden will go to the Raiders. He has a pretty cushy job now at ESPN with no pressure and another three years left on his contract. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see "Chucky" patrolling the sidelines again with that twisted up scowl on his face.

unless maybe if he {John} gets more control that he wanted when he was still there,
also I've read & heard that John & Mark Davis current owner/majority partner {Al's son},
they are supposed to be really good/close friends & have been for quite a while now, like 20 years...

I know, I know, It would be wishful thinking or dreaming, but never say never...

Money talks, also buying out his ESPN contract would be no big deal,
he {John} also says he still loves coaching,
he's said it a quite a few times on his NFL Rookie's QB show,

then also more control over personnel & hiring, maybe the tipping point too...

Lame duck, GM Reggie McKennsie's days are numbered too...
Raiders could kill 2 birds with one stone,

if nothing else it would sell seats/tickets....

The Vikings were awful on both sides of the ball last night. I just wanted to see a good game. Didn't even make it to halftime before I was surfing for something better to watch. :sleepy1::sleepy1:

This is a tough call for me. As bad as I hate the Broncs, if they beat the Cards it helps the Seahawks in the NFC West. AAAARRRGH!!! Maybe a tie would be best, but what are the odds?
