NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

Starting tonight, I'm done watching Thursday Night Football since CBS pulls it off free TV at midseason. Last year my wonderful (sarcasm) cable company decided to move the NFL network to their HD Sports Package and charge me an extra $10 a month for it. I know that doesn't sound like a lot of money but it's basically $120 for eight NFL games that pretty much have sucked so far. The rest of the stuff on the HD Sports Package was garbage. So I won't be watching the Bengals cream the Brownies tonight, I don't think I'll miss it that much. Rant over. Thank you.

They did just that too, you didn't miss anything really...LOL

Hell I got rid of my cable a few years ago so I too won't be watching any football on Thursday night.

One of the only reasons I still have cable is for the football & especially college football...

the NFL, if it isn't the Raiders is just filler TV to me anymore...

sorry I had to go there...LOL

Raiders almost pulled that game out! I was kinda rootin for them!

Indy did pull one out against the Broncos!!! That was kinda un-expected to say the least!

....AND....Carolina Panthers look like they might be the team to beat in the NFC, I think they're for real this year!

Of the un-beaten teams left so far, Carolina has most definately had the tougher schedule.....

Yeah...

Panthers if it wasn't for sCam Newton {best bought & paid for NCCA player...LOL}
I'd be on board, they do look good thou,
top of the heap in the NFC right now...

Can't say it hurt my feeling any to see Broncos go down, 1st loss
{"have I ever pointed that out, mainly because I dislike all the Manning's"...LOL}

I think the Giants lost too, 2 Manning's in one weekend, yea ha... {sorry}
That almost makes the Raiders loss to Pittsburgh a little easier to take, well not really
they do look allot better than they have in years thou, 4 & 4 but losing is still tough...
both teams were battered & even suffered some injuries too, that part sucks...

Vikings 6-2 you gotta love them being on TOP of the NFC North! At least I gotta love it. Loved seeing the Packers bite it two weeks in a row. Now I'm just hoping we get our starting QB back for the Raiders next week. Have to admit they put up a lot of points this week against the Steelers. D will have to be at their best to take them down. Skol!!

Enjoyed watching the Cowboys lose another heartbreaker at home. I never thought that Romo was a great QB, but apparently they can't win without him. Cowboys need a new owner.

Them's fightin' words, lol! The wife was not happy that her Cheese heads got grated......again!

lol the olde dick-in-the-dirt

Actually, Dick In The Dirt is when Cranium moves to Iowa and starts farming.......rim shot.

On another note, first Bronco game I miss this year and we lose. F@cking Talib cost us the game in my opinion. He's fun to watch but that was a BS move, but then what do you expect from an expatriate.......get it?....get it?

Man I'm on a roll tonight....a blind, deaf midget walks into a bar................

My second home was Denver. I love the Broncos and took it very hard when they lost yesterday. First game I missed as well. I wouldn't go as far as saying Talibs foul cost them the game - but it sure as hell put the last nail in the coffin. Couldn't understand why he did something so dumb at the point in the game where they were on the field. Stupid!

Nothing but ego. Did he really think he was coming to Von Miller's rescue, backing up a teammate? I think Von can handle just about anything that's thrown at him, with much more class.

And the chief's didn't loose sunday, oh yeah they had a bye week

Them 2-6 now 2-7 San Diego Chargers & more specific, Rivers went down again last night,
to the 2-5, now 3-5 {?} da' Bears &
Jay Cultler actually looked pretty good, that rookie RB did well also...

It's just a shout out, throwing a bone for my buddy MarPar's team,
I know what it's like to have a team in rebuilding mode, losing season BUT
ultimately I think John Fox will be a good coach & you will have a good team...

{have I ever pointed out, how much I dislike Phillip Rivers too ??}

back to the regular programming

Go Raiders & beat the Vikings next, keep it a winning season...

We need to ask the FUDGE PACKER FANS (& their quarterback Sharon Rodgers) who is in 1ST PLACE in the NFC Norris.....

That's right, girls ---------------------------- PLUM CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The keep saying that the Chargers are moving (probably to LA) and it seemed like there were more Bears fans than SD fans in the stands last night. I understand that the Chargers have a lot of injuries but they look like they've never practiced together. Maybe they should just disband the Chargers and start from scratch in LA.

The Vikings are a fluke......'nuff said!

Thats hardly enough said..... They have good defense and a growing offense. If they have Bridgewater back this Sunday they'll beat the Raiders hands down. The fluke is Greenbay. Overrated - they don't have the defense or the offense everyone gives them credit for before they play good teams. They get pounded twice in a row playing decent teams. The Vikings will split with them this year - each winning at home. Nuff said... Now!

Vikings won't beat the Raiders even at home with Bridgewater,
were going to win, nuff said...LOL

It's in the history, just like Jan 9 1977 Super Bowl XI

sorry I had to go there...

I'm grabbing at straws, I'm praying for a winning season "finally"
