I'm sure you guys don't even know of this play from 2013. Opening game against the Ravens after they knocked the Broncos out of the playoffs in 2012, one and done. The Broncs were having their way with the Super Bowl Champs and a young Trevathon pulls this. (Look at the score at the bottom of the screen)

I tried like hell to find the clip but couldn't. Del Rio was clearly shown crawling up Trevathon's @ss, by passing the heart and lungs and ripping his throat out on national television...for no other reason than to teach him a lesson. @ss kicker indeed.

I'll never forget it.

I hope he brings the Raiders back to the rival of old once again.

I remember that play very well. Showboating at it's finest. Too bad it didn't cost them the game. Amazingly Trevathan is still with the Broncos.

I didn't remember Del Rio's response thou, I'd "actually" like to see that part again...

I remember an Eagles Player, showboat Desean Jackson {?}
doing pretty much the same thing, cost the Eagle the Game, IIRC...

Del Rio was an All American inside linebacker
@ USC & Pro-Bowl player in the NFL too,
he's no slouch of dude, player or coach...
Not sure you'd want to really piss him off...

it's justified, that was a really stupid showboat move...

I've always thought, act like a real Pro or you've been there before,
not the look at me BS, that we get so often now in the NFL & other sports...

When I was still in football, played inside & outside linebacker, defensive end etc.
I can best recall or remember an assistant defensive coach saying to all us {or me ?}
Paraphrasing of course;
"You do any celebrations other than, handing the ball to the ref,
after a good play, tackle, sack or score, your benched, no ifs & or butts"...
Followed by another great statement;
"Celebrations are for the locker-room & sidelines, with your team mates,
it's not a solo act, this is a team sport, 10 other guys helped you in the play,
after all it's not Golf or Tennis, you didn't do it alone, so quit acting like it"

I loved that...

I hope Osweiler will be up to the task next weekend. Will they put Manning back in against Brady?

no, not so much. It wasnt Fox, it was Cuntler that f*cked up and blew it on 4th and inches...the play was right there; but he decided to go right instead of to a wide-open Mariani on the left.

Then the Bears would have won the game with the last TD.

Lucky break to the 2nd stringer...happy birfday
