Went 5 rds at Milan today. Car ran 9.0x all day. The suspension and converter combo is coming around. New bullet from Lenny at Ultimate. Went a best of 1.240/5.718@119/9.04/144.33 on the brakes. I had it jetted to lean and a head wind so mph was a little low at 147. This run was .02 quicker than its previous best in the 1/8 when it ran 9.02. The 9.02 was with Pro Systems Holleys as well. Today was on Edelbrocks. Hopefully the weather holds out and we'll get one more shot this year.

My weather station numbers weren't quite that good, but they were very good. Temp in the mid 60's 29.97 barometer, mid 50's humidity. Bad thing was I didn't jet to take advantage, it went more mph at 3000 D/A early in the year.

I agree. However the last 3 Sundays has been pretty good. If the weather is good on the 23rd I'll be there.

Only that there are many different theory's as to the cause. Cleaned it all up and put it back together. I was unwilling to gut the trans and check run out at this time. That apparently hasn't been proven with out a doubt to be the cause. Felt it was more important to get some laps on the converter before next season to know if it was correct for my combination. Looks pretty close. Car ran fine with no vibration. We'll see at the next inspection.
