The thing is. I hate changing oil and almost would rather poke my eye out with a stick. However, over the last few decades I have attempted to have this service performed for me at a few different Dodge/Chrysler dealers. After checking the oil two different times a few years apart I had instances where the Dealership overfilled the oil. So I do it myself and I carefully use that tricky instrument called a dipstick to ensure I do it right. You can't trust the dealership for this menial task so why would you give them complete power to control your transportation appliance?
