No More Chevy Engine Bay

Well after 5 years I've finally painted my black engine bay body color.
Took a long time preparing, especially masking everything but it was worth it.
It's come out pretty good, a few minor defects and I've probably painted a few things that were meant to be black but I'm very happy!

Nice job! That's one of my "wish-I-could-do-over" items. That and yanking the dash and redoing the instrument cluster before putting the new windshield in. :BangHead:
 
Yup....looks great! Ford painted their engine bays black too. At least they did on the 1st gen Mudstains.

Wonder why?? Almost seems like more trouble when you're building them new at the factory.
 
That looks really good.... the 440 will too when you slide it back together. :poke::lol:
 
Looks great. Something I should have done to my 66 Dart. I was in too big of a hurry to get the engine set back in place and running.
