My Gtx had the same bottom end but had
Stealth heads and ran a bestof

Suspension and weight was limiting factor in that car.

best to date 10.53 @126 - and there's more in it.

heads ported by Mark Lowe {may he RIP}
Girdle & studs on everything, steel caps etc.
1st;
Eddy Tarantula intake 2" spacer 1450 to 4500 spacer, trick 1150 Dominator
all ported/matched by Mark Lowe
blocked off heat riser, Harlan Sharpe 1.5 intake rockers & 1.6 exh.
0.690-ish on the 1.5's {?} solid roller custom ground/Crane,
Milodon gear drive, external oiling system & F/C pan
2" custom tuned headers 32" primaries 4-2-1 merge collectors,

2nd;
latter went to an 8:71 Mert Littlefield blower on akly
ran 7.10-ish @ 189 {IIRC} in good air, much milder cam for the blower,
80a Enderle Pump & Bird Catcher FI hat, rung it out to 7500rpm a few times
{not intentionally}
zoomies {can't remember length} instead of collector headers,
In my old altered, I had to add a ton of weight, especially on front,
I also ran like 12 gallons of alky in a big tank, to help with weight/balance
all in Comp Eliminator, appr. 2,000 #'s + I was about 240# then...
Car was like 1,800#'s + me normally...
Super Eliminator 7.90 ET class on off weekends

It ran well, lived long too, for a stock stroke Wedge, albeit highly modified...
Beat BBC's dragster & altered's all day long...

Great results.

Well unfortunately I lost the cam card so I will go on memory with the specs. The cam is custom grind by DLI. I run 1.6 rockers and when I did the math I came up with .597 lift intake, .614 lift exhaust, duration is 258@50 - best of my recollection. I had run an Isky cam before this one and it really woke it up. I bet if you can get ahold of Robert Landy he might be able to get you one. I think I've gotten all I'm going to get out of the motor itself but I'm sure I can get another 2 tenths out of the car / chassis.

69 Dart GTS 440, 3200# SS springs clamped, dana 4.56, ultimate converter 5000 stall, .590 purple shaft, MCH ported RPM's milled to 76 cc, J E dome pistons, victor intake 1050 dominator 31x10.5 hoosier slicks, best et in sig on poor track but good air. Motor destroyed itself last autumn after banging on it for nearly 6 yrs, got 470 low deck for it with indy -1 heads.
