OK, I know, I know....Not a 74 color but...FM3 with Black Vinyl and stripes is the best looking color combo IMO. And it won't show dirt.... It takes a REAL man to drive FM3

how about this................now think about it before you go....EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.....dark effervescent raspberry metallic ( kinda cranberry color but a bit darker). i once seen a 'cuda in this color and i just couldnt stop looking at it. Bad *** with all the black to accent it!

I don't know man............with that coke bottle style body, that thing would look killer black. Like you said, pain to keep clean and the body work/prep needs to be top notch, but in the end...Wow!! Myself, I look for excuses to spend time with the car in the garage and tackle a couple brews here and there. The red/blue/gold/green colors seem to be pretty common, but how often you run across a black one?

I forgot the name of that series off USA, but that black Charger on that show looks pretty mean. Good luck with your choice, it's a tough one to make for sure!

Prop, that would be "Burn Notice". Started watching it with no idea that the main character drives a Charger. 3 or 4 episodes in, he goes to his mom's garage to start up his dad's old car. An absolutely insane black Charger with a white interior. Got bored with the show after a season, but man- that car never got old.

Black would be a pretty awesome choice.

I didn't know what FM3 was. Also known as "Panther Pink".

X 2 Awesome choice!! Another of my favorite color combos is black and silver, the combination of both colors just look great, especially on these year Chargers, there sleek and i love the side view and picture the silver on the bottom with black lining the top and using the silver on any scoops (hood bulge) and go wing.. My own opinions, to me its just awesome. Rant over.

Here's a nice page that shows the different colors for 1970-74.
They're on Challengers, but you get to see what each looks like compared to the others.
...plus it shows the codes and changes year to year.

73/74 info is kinda hard to find.
