Getting cooler, we had a couple days of light rain
supposed to be a wet fall & winter again
probably lots of snow "again"

Hi's of 70*-80*f with lows of 45*-55*f w/40%-48% humidity
sort of high for here if not a weather storm coming in
lower fire danger/Thank God
getting cooler at nights, good for sleeping, not hot & sweating
falls here, leaves just started falling a couple days ago

The front came through late this afternoon. 42 degrees or colder. I just put two more blankets on the bed.

We are supposed to be heading into a dry summer....La Nina or whatever it is.

I don't think we've had more than 7 days of sunshine all year so far. Today was one of those days, although the wind is still strong around here.
I'm not into blazing heat of been in the beating sun, but a little respite from all this bloody rain would be welcome.

Our local city rain catchment has been above 99% for at least 6 months now. And that doesn't allow for how much is spilled or lost due to leaky infrastructure.

Weird today. Sunny and 66. People are in shorts. There's still snow on the ground in the shaded areas.

Supposed to be 67* here today
had plenty of frost all over this morning
still cold at night, 30*s
not all that strange for here

I remember a few years back
me, my nephew Keith, my dad & my bros Dr. Mark
3 generations, were golfing on Jan 1st, & it was clear sunny & 70*s beautiful

2:30pm PST getting dark already, I hate that stuff
Dec. 21st, (16 days) it will be the shortest daylight of the year
start gaining a lil' daylight time, every day after :bananadance:

Two years ago, Dec on the 9th it was 83 and the prediction is 77 for this coming Saturday which will be the 9th. Today was party sunny with a high hitting 70 briefly with the low at around 50. Cooler tomorrow with mid 40's low and mid 60's high.

Hey, the numbers don't go big enough on that thermometer! :poke: :poke:  Too bad we didn't always use the Metric system like most of the rest of the world.
It would be hard for me these days to learn the metric system.....I know a little bit about it but not that much. Didn't like the idea when cars were built with 1/2 metric and 1/2 sae nor did I like having to buy more tools to work on it.

Me too. And that was before I got in the tool business. I had discussions with the older tool dealers about their successes during the Great Metric Conversion. It put them right on top. Oh and with all those extra tools comes a new toolbox!
