Oil pump questions

Your pump is stock. You posted photos. It uses the thicker o-ring. It is not a Milodon that uses the skinny o-ring.

Installed without washers on the mounting screws. Because there weren’t any. And it didn’t occur to there that there should be.

Are the threads into a blind hole or through hole? You don't want the bolts to bottom out before the oil pump is properly "clamped up" to the block...it could leak.

Only in the hole to the block. And not a whole lot of thread reaching it on the longest bolt to begin with either. The kits have split washers.

Doesn't clarify the issue but no matter I am done worrying about it. If you are curious as to why this is a problem scroll up for the numerous post where I say the same thing ten different way regarding the kit and the O rings involved. Not copping an attitude I am just exhausted with this and battling that old gasket took more energy than I had left and then another day's worth.

Please check Post #37. by DeltaV. Note the lock washers on the assembly bolts from the factory service manual...

Dude I’m not being rude you just don’t seem to get what we are discussing here and I don’t know how else to say it.
It happened a couple of times in 53 unbelievable pages about oil pump 'o' rings. I guess you really don't know how to reply to somebody who was trying to help you. Don't worry, won't happen again, Dude...
