80 at idle, amazed you haven't blown a filter case open.I use 20W60 with a huge amount of zinc in it. 80 pounds of oil pressure at idle!!!

I agree. I've had several bad experiences with fram filters in other vehicles. I actually have been very pleased with Mopar filters.VR1 10-30 is a great choice for most older engines and it's usually readily available. I have had good luck with WIX filters and there are others that are good as well.
The Super Tech filters from Wally World are actually a quality piece. They just don't make as many numbers as the bigger filter companies. In fact, the Super Tech oil is decent stuff also. I run it in my beaters.
The one to stay away from is FRAM. I don't like the orange filters at all...
