On Fuel Up, Vapor/Evaporative Tank Leaks Gas

When the tank is filled, gas starts traveling up the driver’s side of the vehicle and then starts leaking down from the area of the vapor/evaporator tank. When more gas is spent, the leaking stops. What is the issue?

1971 Dodge Charger/ 440 carburetor.

Find and fix the leak. Thats a closed system so no raw fuel should be coming out.
