Dodge &Plymouth had the best hood scoops back in the day & the writers of that article surely wrote it to appease the Ford & GM crowd.

The hood on my SS is functional. This style was only for '96 and '97. I liked the front scoops on a '71 GTO also. It's funny to me with all the hoopla about Shelby Mustangs nobody ever talks about all the fake scoops.

They didn't show the lights in the Ram TRX hood scoop. That's the coolest part.

the L88 cowl induction scoop was pretty damn cool for a vette

While I like them all, the twin nostril shakers are my fav.....whats yours.....

I would say the 66/67 GTO scoop has always been my favorite. I might be a little biased since a 66 was my first car at 16.

I always liked that hood too...
I had my share of T/A's over the years, street & pro-racecars

2000 Trans Am W6 Ram Air hood

or the Firehawk SLP hood

even my 94 25th Aniv. T/A hood was pretty cool for the time

I'm a fan of 70 Super Bee/RT center scoop. It's a shame it wasn't functional.

the 69.5 A12 440-6bbl Liftoff are hands down the best IMO

the AAR hood/scoop is also a favorite
(even if the real ones/hood all bent, because of the springs)

the 68 LO23 Dart's & BO29 Barracuda's scoops are bad *** too

& the TRX looks cool also or new Hellcat or Demon caught my eye

that Hagerty list isn't very inclusive at all
for an "all time best/coolest hood/scoop list"
seems like it's a best of/cool scoops, for that specific writer

it's not my "best of or let alone coolest scoop" list

that's my opinion, it's not up for negotiations either
