ONLY 18 of the coolest factory hood scoops according to this Hagerty article; but what do they know?

My favorites are the 63 plymouth SS, which I think really looks great on the mid 60's cars, and of course the 6 pack which is just so in your face performance oriented.

This one is functional

If the 73 RR hood was functional it would be up there IMO.

(and whoever keeps disliking my 73 RR posts can please keep to themselves)

I was gonna post about stick on scoops but someone beat me to it.

I love hoods and they put that finishing touch on a car. This 65 coronet is nice and looks like many and to me Chrysler leads the pack. I can't forget the Dart, but one that is styled well is 427 big block vet stinger.

Compare my 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler's hood scoop with the 1969 Hurst Olds
Same designer
same composition
Hurst pulled out "All the stops"

IDK, the 73/74 RR hood acts the same way the 71-74 Charger bulge hood does- it increases under hood room.

It just has simulated openings where the Charger hood (73/74) does not.
