hi group I want to know if radiator support is causing to overheat it looks like my GTX came with a 22 inch radiator it has a 26 inch radiator it when I bought it I checked it today it has 3 inches on the right side and one inch on the left side covering the radiator it's off center because of the battery box. I see somebody else cut the radiator support cutoff wheel like I said it's been overheat since I owned it for four years last four years it's been running about 200-to 210° in this year after making so many changes in the running to 240° plus. Also I can see the guys point about coolant system in the engine being clogged it been 16 years since it been a part. Also somebody wanted know at the engine was ever a part. I found receipts for the engine more parts and machine work done 8/97 for about $2000 but I'm not positive this was the last machine work done or a different engine was put in since then. The guy I bought it from the original owner it has supposedly 26,000 original miles. But he told me most of the miles were from the drag strip. But the guy I had bought it from didn't seem to know much about cars. I still think electric fans that came with the radiator are junk I've been looking at two different electric fans from Summit's I would like to know what you guys think of these two fans and also what you think about cutting the radiator frame.
