Line 1: E63 D32 RM23 H9G 188954
Line 2: W1 W1 M6X (or M6Y) X? 380355
Line 3: C55 M25 R11 V21. The rest I can't figure and the build sheet is only the bottom portion of the paper no information there.
With what I had this is how this RR came from the factory.
E63: 383cid 4bbl Magnum (STD w/Roadrunner) (Orange paint).
D32: 3-speed A-727 Torqueflite HD Automatic Transmission.
RM23: 1968-1970 Roadrunner 2Dr Hardtop. Also used for 1970 Super Bird.
H9G: 340 ci 8cy 4bbl High Performance for 1970. Mine came with the 383 H.P.
and my year is 1969. The G is assembly plant: St. Louis, MO.
188954: Serial number (should match with vin number) and does.
W1: Lower body Plymouth: Alpine White.
W1: Upper door frame color is the same Alpine White.
M6Y or M6X: ?
380355: Order number.
C55: ? M25: Custom sill moldings. R11: Music master solid state 2 watt AM Radio (STD with/A04
V21: Performance Hood paint treatment. And that is all that can be diciphered from this fender tag. Well can't wait until I'm done with this deployment and get back home so I can have a closer look at it and begin working on it. I have posted some as is pictures I got from the seller. So you all can take a look at it and tell me what you think. I'm open to suggestions.

Partial fender tag decoded.

Thanks prop wash it sure did help. Here goes from bottom left to right. Line 1 E63 D32 RM23 H9G 188954. Line 2
W1 W1 M6Y or X or 7 corroded 380355. Line 3
C55 M25 corroded again R11 V21.
And that is all I have. I can't wait to be finished with my current deployment and get back home so I can research more and start work on this wanna be beautiful Roadrunner. Alpine White with wide Black hood stripes looks pretty nice, I like it. Oh and BTW the guy that I bought it from says that it's black leather interior bucket seats that is what the C55 on the fender tag is. He said that the rearend was a 8 3/4 but got bent and swap it for a 8 1/4. I guess I just have to find a 8 3/4 or a Dana 60 for it or a STRANGE 9 inch or STRANGE 60. I'll start at the local junkyard for it. If I can't find it there then I got to go for the strange 9" or 60. Hopefully won't be spending that kind of money for strange rearends. I want to get at least the 8 3/4 sure grip or Dana 60 sure grips. I'm after the really good original high ratios. Old owner is including another 383H.P. motor that is partly disassembled. So this is what I got 2 383hp big blocks 1 727 Torque flight automatic transmission a non matching 8 1/4 rear end. 1 extra fender, ? which side. I posted some pictures of the vehicle in the gallery take a look at it and tell me what you think?

M6X would be the interior code. M6Y is not a valid code for a 69 RR.
M= medium trim level, 6 = buckets seats in vinyl, X = black
C55 = only tells you the car came with bucket seats. It does not tell you what material was used.

The code you can't read after M6X and X9 and before the 380355 vehicle order number (VON) is the scheduled production date (SPD). The SPD of the car is probably C16.

One of the codes you can't read would be M21.

Thanks 69coronetrt

Thanks for that useful post. I'm liking it even more now and excited to get back home from this deployment and find out more from this RR. Can't wait to start restoring my Baby. My very first Mopar.:happy10:

The M21 comes before the M25 or after? This is on the 3rd row up beginning with C55 then two code boxes and then M25 one code box then R11 then V21. This fender tag is really badly corroded but at least most of the numbers are there.

M21 would come before M25. You didn't say...does the car have an Air Grabber hood?
Have you tried reading the tag from the back?

Air Grabber...

No it doesn't. It has the regular hood slits with engine call outs (383). BTW I requested the seller of the 69 RR in S.C. to refund my money because he's taking to long for me to send the transporter. Been waiting for almost a month maybe more since I sent the payment for his Roadrunner and decided to cancel on this car. As because it is taking way to long and the transport company has been reserved and have been waiting also. I think maybe he doesn't want to part with it. Anyways with that being said I have purchased on ebay a 1969 RR parts car for $500.00 and now I'm going to reply back to this seller's email and give him a pick up date with the transport company. I have had a lot of transport quotes and I'm going with the cheapest.

Change in profile pic.

The current Roadbird profile pic is a 1969 RR in white. I have backed out on this purchase and so I must change my profile pic because I do not own this Vehicle. Instead I have purchased a 1970 RR with a lot of options listed on the fender tag and I also have a readable build sheet. This RR is a numbers matching with all it's original parts that I plan on restoring upon my return from deployment. The color is Hemi Orange / Red Iridium with Black Velvet roof vinyl and matching Black Velvet special hood treatment in the exterior. The interior is Black leather bucket seats and bench in the back seat. It's a automatic on the center console. Feel free to look at my gallery and all comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks FBBO. Roadbird. :happy5:
