Performer RPM - Enough Hood Clearance 69 GTX?

That is an interesting test in the video above, thanks for posting it. All drop bases cut down flow, which I would have guessed. But with the K&N open top/open side element, surprisingly it flowed better with the side blocked off and only drawing through the top. I'm not making over 600 hp, so I believe I will leave my setup alone.

Factory filter was 2.75"on the 13" round unsilenced air cleaner. If I lose 8hp going to get ice cream and pizza I will be ok haha!

I beat myself up over this now for weeks lol. I ended up going with a Performer 440 with an 800cmf AVS2 so I can use the stock air cleaner and have clearance on my 68 GTX.
Don't plan on dragging it, just a nasty street/cruiser for date nights and car cruises. Being matching numbers and all original I don't wanna beat it up, but God I gotta have some fun and let her breathe!

Does anyone know if a Performer RPM manifold will fit under a stock hood of a 69 GTX? It is a 440 and non-air grabber hood.

I'm running one on my 68 Coronet R/T, it will work but I used a low-profile air cleaner
