Phoenix Specialty Coatings is the BEST!!!

Oh Dako, he does!!! I just clean up his castings and welds a little bit and give 'em some love is all. :D Seriously though, I always admired honesty so Rob started off as a good customer who turned into a great friend over the years. He's got my back and I've happily got his.

Your 'original steel valve covers' have me intrigued. I just came in to grab a phone number off my PMs and saw your post ... I'm thinking maybe Red Ram or FirePowers? ......... heh hehhhhh Whatever your teaser turns out to be, I'll be around whenever you're ready to start shopping. Thank you for the compliment!

LOL, I do, but for myself and only for odd ball discontinued engines like the Poly 318. It takes me a long time since I spend much time at work making money instead of spending it on stuff.
(Pension beef up years. I'll be very busy for a while.)
One day, I just may get good at it. (Welding and fabing) I want to try to create a RPM like intake from sheet metal for the Poly engines with a higher carb height.

On the powered coating color, I absolutely love that color. It is much like a new intake. It sparkles and shines like a new intake OOTB. But doesn't dull and always looks great. LeAnna will get a few more things. From me in the future. Another intake (6 pack) and some valve covers to start the list.

I had to creeper on over here from FABO and brag on my girl. I love these covers SO much that I am seriously considering buying a set and doing something somewhat similar. (Hemi orange instead of Turquoise and Hemi orange instead of the red - on a small block) I have her doing my Weiand intake right now and once I settle on an air cleaner That too will find its way out to her. Maybe even the hardware on my drum set if i can peel myself away from it for a little while.

Her quality is unmatched. and it isn't just with new parts. she takes old trash and makes them better than new. Check her out. Better yet, HIRE HER. you won't be disappointed.

Wow, thank you Hemi! :D I always enjoy working with you and appreciate you sharing that here. < hug >

Mario, I just wanted to follow up with you on these to advise you've got what are turning out to be some of the most popular valve covers I've ever done. In just a couple of weeks, they've generated no less than 15 requests for quotes, three confirmed shipments already (none to be exactly like yours by the way, though everyone wants the red, white and blue in the center), and my first ever viral shop photo on FaceBook.

Thanks again for letting me help you realize the vision. :D

all I can is WOW!

Don, I just might have to replace your custom Polys on my site's home page now. LOL :D I've got at least a year of 'new' work and feedback to add so I know they've been featured up there at the top for awhile.

SWEEET Leanna!!

Leanna and Mario, you guys are like a couple of rock stars now! Nice design Mar and great execution Leanna!

Thanks Matt!!! You're awesome.

I'm FBBO's Newest Vendor!!! < insert huge grin here >

Awwwwwww, you noticed. :D Love ya Hemi!!! (Guys, as timing would have it, Hemi's intake, water neck and carb riser are on my work bench right now getting dolled up with a custom job. Stay tuned .............)

Since he was kind enough to bump this thread again for the holiday [muahhhhh], I'm going to take this opportunity to repost a little announcement from another on-topic thread.

This Friday, May 31, 2013, happens to be my shop's 6th Anniversary. Save the gifts though because I've got news ... and the presents are all yours.

JoeyChgo gave me the head's up this week that I can offer FBBO members a discount!!! I don't know yet if he's going to give me the awesome lime green Vendor icon I have on FABO or not [I love it because it matches my car heh hehhhh] ... but the agreement with the Boss is now in force and I'll start honoring it immediately.

From this point forward, all FBBO members are entitled to a 5% discount on labor at Phoenix Specialty Coatings. In addition, Gold Members will enjoy a 10% labor discount. These discounts apply across the board and can result in substantial savings (and extra money for other stuff on your car), especially on larger jobs. On smaller ones, it usually at least covers the shipping cost.

Since I implemented the discounts over on FABO a few years ago, its members have cumulatively saved almost $5,000! That's a lotta gas and parts money.

I'm not in this job to get rich or plan to retire early on a beach in the Carribbean. I want to leave the legacy that I'm in this job because I love what I do for a living, I love turning crappy old car parts into works of art, and I love watching the progress on everybody's rides. The most gratifying thing -- and what I especially love -- is having a little hand in a few of them, and being able to point to it and say "I did that."

Thanks for having me here guys!! I hope ya'll are enjoying it as much as I am. It's a pleasure and an honor to be on board, and even more so now. I look forward to working with all (or even a few more) of you in the future.

Well then satman72, it seems you have an even bigger addiction to Powder **** than I do ... we should seek professional help immediately. LOL :D

Thanks for checking it out!

I just caught all your little smileys at the bottom there Hemi -- classic! FBBO seems to have a better selection than FABO does LOL! (The little running yellow guy is making me tired watching him.)

I neglected to mention to the rest of you that aside from his current customer status, Hemitheus is also the amazingly talented graphics artist who worked tirelessly on my shop's Garage Posters last year.

His dedication and attention to detail are unmatched in his industry and I'm very lucky to have his services. The fact the Limited Edition was sold out within a few weeks is a solid testament to his skills. Thanks for doing what you do so well Hemi!! :toothy5: :eek:ccasion18: :love7: This ol' lady and her hot rod have never looked so good. < hug >
