I bet a few street races got organized there. My street was only a block long, my 67 GTX, another 67 GTX, 69 Hemi Road Runner, 70 Cuda 440+6, 68 Charger 383, 70 Duster 340. Can't remember the off brands, that was just normal life I figured.
 
There were five Hurst/olds cutlasses within three blocks of my house.

73-76-ish. All different.
 
You guys were very lucky to live and see those times... I caught the tail end of it but my kids won’t get to see those free times.. so cool to see these pics.

That's a good concentration of those cars; under 5500 were built in total from 1973-1975. They were all available with the 455.

I agree.

I roamed pretty far and never saw more than one other one and only very, very occasionally.

IIRC 4 were white but one was black.

I found that odd, as well.

No idea what engines they had (I don't believe there were any call-out badges).

But I think they all had lightning rod shifters...at least the automatics ones.

Now it's getting blurry.
