Naah you're fine..I was intrigued by the thread and feeling goofy so I just made up some gibberish...I have never heard pf any of those phrases before. But I live in a backwater.
I have heard none of these. They might as well say:How about these annoying catch phrases: "dog's out of the room'', "don't hate on my corn", "see you on the bubble", "motivate your chops", (he or she's a real) zero dialer", "just wavin' laces" etc...

The turd is out of the ***.
Really? I thought that since the piano is 300 years old and the guitar goes back centuries farther...well who knows. As for enough notes, I can play a ten note chord on a piano, but not on a guitar. It could not possibly come with "all chords", even though the guitar was in fact designed in part because the piano "did not have enough notes/keys"
This has been debated numerous times.OK you " correct" freaks, now let's be honest. Do you call an engine a motor?...That is one thing that I always try to be correct about.........." Get your motor run'in, head out on the highway"............................MO

Dog, you bring up some good points, but Google " What is the difference between a motor and an engine" I guess the folks in the early 1900's didn't check with Google !This has been debated numerous times.
Motor oil or engine oil?
General Motors or General Engines?
Motorcycle or Engine cycle?
